TIMBERLIFE has often taken a look back at moments in Timber-history. Now we would like to take the opportunity to look into the future of Camp Timberlane with these startling predictions:
By 1994, NBC, CBS, and ABC will be bidding
for television rights to United Nations and Pow Wow Days.
Air-conditioning and telephone service will be installed in the
cabins by the turn of the century.
Hardees, A&W, and Tombstone Pizza will open concession stands on
the camp grounds in 1987.
On movie night in 1991, Camp Director Marshall Berlin will show the
Alfred Hitchcock classic, Pyscho.
Due to popular demand, the Canadian Canoe trip will be replaced in
2036 by a canoe trip to Europe. It will be called the "Continental
Canoe Excursion".
