From the boardwalk’s installation in 1968 and Nick Belinke’s Polish team U.N. Day victories in 1968 and 1969, to the new swim pier of 1979 and the cloning of John Marks---WE HAVE SEEN IT ALL!

We have seen...The case of the missing hospital bed in 1970, which resulted in Harold Hiken’s only syrup and feathering.

We have seen..H.H. finding the “Fountain of Youth” by “hair mail” in 1971.

We have seen...The fiasco of the first Porter’s Gymnastic Camp in 1974.

We have seen...George Havelka, Robby Ely, Greg Ehlens, Alan Mishlove, Foster Becker, Abby Berger, Todd Chapman, Tony Searle, Fred Bierman, Jerry Hawker, Bob Brenner, Joel Brazy, Paul Barker, and Ed Gein.

We have seen...Randy Wynn’s introduction of the ski boom in 1974.

We have seen...The installation of the second riding ring in 1976.

We have seen...Camp Timberlane’s inclusion in the Guiness Book of World Records (Bohemian edition) for the 133 player tush ball game in 1978.

We have seen...Mark Faiwell’s purchase of Camp Timberlane in September, 1978.

...and now with the many changes in the central area, including split rail fencing and russet trim, we move into a new era. In this, our nineteenth season, we look forward to many more memorable events and personalities.
