WRITING AN ARTICLE
by Greg Schatten

Writing an article for TIMBERLIFE can be a very trying experience. As soon as you volunteer to write an article, you will be subjected to harrasment by the editors, Bob Gassel and Jim Salinsky.

In my case, I’ve written many articles over the years for this newspaper and have never had as much difficulty thinking of a topic as I had this year. I was given the idea by Jim Salinsky, and rejected it at first. After long hours of contemplation, all I could think of was Jim’s suggestion.

So here I sit only minutes from the deadline writing an article on writing an article. Believe me, writing an article for TIMBERLIFE is not as easy as you might think. All the people who have written in this paper have worked hard on their stories and interviews.

The support for TIMBERLIFE is growing, and this year the most campers ever signed up to write articles for the camp newspaper.

Well, the deadline has arrived and here comes big, bad Bob Gassel. I couldn’t think of anything to write about , so I guess I’ll hand this in to avoid being beat up.
