As taught by Eric Rogers, Photography is
one of the fastest-growing activities at Timberlane. Presently,
one-fourth of the camp is enrolled in it.
Rogers, a very precise individual, shows some of the most intimate
ways of shooting, developing, and printing pictures, postcards,
buttons and photograms. Erics class has a very precise method
in the darkroom; he impresses me each time I see him with his quick
way of doing things.
Eric has an assistant in the darkroom named Bob Gassel. Also, helping
do the camps memory books is Bill Doner.
Bill and I worked on three hundred pictures one night, and he really
fascinated me with his capacity to work. Although he did ruin a stack
of photographic paper.
